Vandals Junior-to-be Chase Laack had a strong showing at the Indiana Elite Midwest Golf Showdown this week.
Chase Laack played both his qualifier for the tournament and the final round on Tuesday, leading to 36 holes of golf with only about a 40 minute break in between. Chase shot a 73 in his first round on the Par 72 Winding Ridge Golf Club and then shot a 74 in the final round—overall finishing 4th out of an event that included 150 golfers from 5 states.
Chase is now playing in Edwardsville today in the Gatewy Tour Match Play Championship—he’ll be playing there today, tomorrow and Friday at Sunset Hills Country Club.
