The South Central Storm Chasers 15U are now 8-2 on the summer after going 3-1 and winning Bracket B of the USSSA Shawnee Park Invitational Ring Event this past weekend. The Storm Chasers dropped their pool play opener to the Southern Illinois Predators 5-1 before beating Cardinal Baseball of Kentucky, 7-1. The Storm Chasers got a first round BYE in Bracket B tournament play before beating Southern Illinois Dingers 14U, 4-2, to earn their place in the bracket’s title game. That game was a rematch of their pool play opener with the Storm Chasers getting some revenge and beating the Southern Illinois Predators 6-1.
