>>Bengals Make LSU QB Burrow First Pick In NFL Draft

(Undated)  —  LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is the first pick in the first-ever virtual NFL Draft.  The Heisman Trophy winner went number-one to the Bengals.  The Redskins took Ohio State defensive end Chase Young second and Detroit picked OSU cornerback Jeff Okudah third.  Teams made picks remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

(Undated)  —  NFL analyst Todd McShay is recovering from the coronavirus and was not part of last night’s draft coverage.  McShay revealed the news yesterday, saying he instead would be watching the draft from home.  ESPN, ABC and NFL Network used a shared broadcast with limited in-studio personnel to adhere to social distancing.

(Tampa, FL)  —  Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is expressing gratitude for all that he left behind in New England.  He thanked team owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick, the entire Patriots organization and their fans in an Instagram post.  “Gronk” said the memories are incredible and ended with the hashtag #PatsNation.

>>Brady Walks Into Wrong House In Tampa

(Tampa, FL)  —  Tom Brady is still getting used to his new surroundings in Tampa.  TMZ reports the new Buccaneers quarterback went to visit Tampa offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich this month, but accidentally walked into the house next door.  Brady tweeted, “breaking and entering…just making myself at home in ‘Tompa’ Bay.”

>>NC Governor Considering Coca-Cola 600 Without Spectators

(Charlotte, NC)  —  North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper says he’s considering a request to run the Coca-Cola 600 as scheduled next month without fans.  The race is set for May 24th.  Cooper says NASCAR teams can work in their race shops as long as they maintain social distancing guidelines.  Only four races have been run this season.
