>>Jazz’s Conley Is NBA HORSE Champion

(Undated)  —  Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley is the winner of the NBA’s HORSE Challenge.  He knocked off Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine  in the finals of the virtual tournament.  Conley beat Chauncey Billiups in the semifinals, while LaVine took out WNBA star Allie Quigley in the other semi.

>>MLB Feeding Kids Through Home Plate Project

(Undated)  —  MLB is providing meals for kids who rely on their schools to eat.  Dozens of players have raised more than a million-dollars for the Home Plate Project.  Among those are the Yankees’ D.J. LeMahieu and Brett Gardner, and the Mets’ Steven Matz and Michael Wacha.

>>Another NFL Player Positive For COVID-19

(Englewood, CO)  —  Broncos star linebacker Von Miller has the coronavirus.  The Pro Bowler tells Denver’s 9News that he tested positive earlier this week.  Miller, who has asthma, says it started with a little cough, but he’s otherwise been fine.  The Rams’ Brian Allen previously told Fox Sports that he’s positive.

>>NFL Draft Less Than A Week Away

(Undated)  —  The Giants and Jets have less than a week to finalize their draft boards.  The NFL Draft starts virtually next Thursday.  Limited TV personnel will produce a shared telecast, with team personnel and commissioner Roger Goodell working from home.  The Giants pick fourth and the Jets 11th.

>>Vegas Not Keen On Brady-Less Pats

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Without quarterback Tom Brady, the Patriots are getting a lot less love in Vegas.  Caesars Sportsbook posted its 2020 NFL odds on Thursday, with New England’s projected win total at just eight-and-a-half games.  The Bills are the favorite to win the AFC East with a projected win total of nine.

>>U.S. Open Decision Coming By June

(Flushing Meadows, NY)  —  The United States Tennis Association says it will make a decision by June on whether to postpone or cancel the U.S. Open.  The USTA hopes to be able to play as scheduled in late August, but calls the prospect of holding a grand slam tournament without spectators highly unlikely.
