>>Jackie Robinson Honored Despite No Games

(Undated)  —  Despite no games, the late Jackie Robinson is still being remembered.  Wednesday was the 73rd anniversary of him breaking MLB’s color barrier with the Dodgers.  Former outfielder Curtis Granderson donated 42-thousand meals to food banks in honor of Robinson’s retired number-42.

>>NTSB Says Halladay Mixed Drugs, Stunts In Fatal Plane Crash

(Washington, DC)  —  The NTSB says Hall of Fame pitcher Roy Halladay mixed drugs and dangerous stunts when he crashed his small plane and died in 2017.  The report released yesterday says Halladay had 10 times therapeutic levels of amphetamine in his system and was doing extreme acrobatics.

>>NBA Virtual HORSE Challenge Resumes Tonight

(Undated)  —  The NBA’s virtual HORSE Challenge resumes tonight.  ESPN will televise the semifinals and finals at 9 p.m. Eastern.  The semis pit Chauncey Billups against Mike Conley and Zach LaVine against Allie Quigley.  All the participants are streaming shots from their home court.

>>Dr. Fauci Says Pro Sports Can Return This Summer Without Fans

(Undated)  —  Dr. Anthony Fauci says if pro sports are to return this summer, it will have to be without fans.  The medical face of the U.S. fight against the COVID-19 virus tells Spapchat’s Peter Hamby that players could stay in big hotels wherever games are played and be tested weekly.

>>Browns Unveil New Jerseys Honoring Days Of Jim Brown

(Cleveland, OH)  —  The Browns are unveiling new uniforms that pay tribute to their past.  In a nod to the days of Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown, the updated design features brown jerseys and white pants, and white jerseys with brown pants.  There will also be a white on white combination.

>>WWE Workforce Faces Furloughs, Pay Cuts, Axe

(Bristol, CT)  —  The WWE is trimming some of its workforce during the coronavirus pandemic.  The longtime pro wrestling outfit says a portion of its employee base is being temporarily furloughed and execs are taking pay cuts.  Among those released altogether was former world champion Kurt Angle.
