>>Free-Agent Clowney Lowers Asking Price

(Undated)  —  The price is coming down for free-agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney.  ESPN reports his asking price has gone from 20-plus-million per season to 17-to-18-million-dollars.  Clowney had just three sacks in 13 games with Seattle last season, but the Seahawks and Titans remain interested.

>>Tagovailoa Says He’s 100-Percent After Hip Injury

(Tuscaloosa, AL)  —  Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa says he’s 100-percent.  The projected top-10 draft pick tells ESPN he’s ready to go after four months of rehab for a broken hip.  Tua has been running drills and throwing, and says he could play as a rookie.

>>MLB Cancels London Series Between Cards, Cubs

(New York, NY)  —  Major League Baseball is canceling the London Series between the Cardinals and Cubs because of the coronavirus.  St. Louis and Chicago were to have played two games at Olympic Stadium June 13th and 14th.  MLB already canceled trips to Mexico City and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

>>Wooden Award Finalists Announced

(Dayton, OH)  —  The five finalists are out for this year’s Wooden Award, given to the top player in college basketball.  Vying for this year’s honor is Dayton’s Obi Toppin, Udoka Azubuike of Kansas, Seton Hall’s Myles Powell, Iowa’s Luka Garza and Markus Howard of Marquette.

>>Wimbledon Postponed For First Time Since WWII

(London, England)  —  For the first time since World War Two, there will be no Wimbledon.  The All England Club announced that this year’s major has been postponed due to COVID-19.  It was to have started June 29th.  Eight-time Wimbledon champ Roger Federer tweeted that he’s devastated.
