Three area girls basketball teams will get their IHSA postseasons underway tonight.
In Class 2A, the 10th-seeded Lady Vandals will face #8 seeded Staunton/Mt. Olive at 6pm as the Gillespie Regional. The winner of that game will move on to face top-seeded Breese Mater Dei on Tuesday night at 6pm.
In Class 1A, #7 seed South Central will take on #10 seed Palestine at 6pm at the Louisville North Clay Regional. The winner of the game will advance to take on #2 seed Brownstown-St. Elmo at 6pm on Tuesday night.
Also in 1A, 12th-seeded Ramsey will face #6 seed Dieterich at 7:30pm at the Effingham St. Anthony Regional. The winner of tonight’s game will move on to play regional host and #4 seed St. Anthony at 7:30pm on Wednesday night.
