(Champaign, IL) — Illinois men’s basketball will face off against North Carolina next season. The matchup will take place at the 2027 Nashville Hoops Showdown on January 30th. The contest will be the ninth all-time meeting between the programs, and first since 2010. The Fighting Illini are coming off a Final Four appearance last season.
