Vandals Go 2-2 in Day 1 of Second Shootout

After having last week off, the Vandalia Vandals boys basketball team got back in action on Tuesday, going 2-2 in the first day of their second shootout of the summer. The Vandals started the day falling to the Altamont Indians 38-26, and fell to Effingham 49-40, before rebounding for a 54-37 win over SEB, and ended the day with a 62-39 win over Coal City. The Vandals will wrap up their summer today, when they take on Cumberland at 8:50, Goreville at 10:30, and will begin the tournament portion at 1 PM.
