Lady Vandals Go 1-2 at DuQuoin Shootout on Wednesday

Vandalia girls basketball headed south on Wednesday for the DuQuoin Shootout and ended the day at 1-2. The Lady Vandals opened up play for the day with a 23-18 win over West Frankfort before falling to Centralia 32-18 in their second game. In their final game of the shootout, the Lady Vandals battled Elverado and came up just short 23-21 in overtime. Next up for Vandalia will be a return to action in the Pana Girls League on Tuesday night.
