The first Vandalia Boys Basketball Shootout of the summer is set for Wednesday and Thursday at three Vandalia School District gyms. 19 teams will be present for the shootout including two Vandalia high school teams. Vandalia will play on Wednesday at 9:50am against Dieterich, at 11:30am against Greenfield and at 2:50pm against Benton with all three of those games at the high school. Vandalia 2 will play on Wednesday at 11:30am against Wayne City at the junior high and at 3:40pm against Patoka at the elementary school. On Day 2 on Thursday, Vandalia will play at 11:20am against Illini West while Vandalia 2 will play at 8:50 am against Sandoval and at 12:10pm against Cerro Gordo, both at the elementary school. Tourney play for the shootout will then begin at 1:00pm on Thursday.
