Brownstown-St. Elmo girls basketball kicked off their summer schedule going 2-1 at the Kaskaskia College Summer Shootout on Tuesday. The Lady Bombers fell to Marion 40-32 in their first game of the day but rebounded to get a 39-24 win over Century and then beat Centralia 41-15. BSE now heads to Dexter, Missouri where they will compete in the Rib City Shootout on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5. They will play three games each day with Thursday’s games at 11:45am against Doniphan, MO, at 1:15pm against Hamilton Co., IL and at 2:45pm against Southwind (Memphis), AR. On Friday they will play at 9:30am against Portageville, MO, at 11:45am against Crittenden Co., KY and at 1:15pm against Troy, MO.
