I70Sports.com’s Erica Foltz spoke to all around standout athlete from Vandalia Kohnor Depew following his final high school sports event, the IHSA 1A State Track Finals where he finished 6th place in the 200m Dash making it the second year in a row he finished on the podium in the event.

Depew wraps up a high school track career where he competed in 2025 and 2026 and reached the podium twice in the 200m Dash finishing in 6th place both years and medaling once in the 100m Dash, placing 8th. Depew is the individual school record holder in both the 100 and 200, is a member of the school record 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams and also leaves Vandalia with his name etched in the Vandalia Football record books and was a standout athlete in the baseball field and also spent time in the Vandals basketball program.
