The Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers were held to three hits on Wednesday and couldn’t scratch across a run, falling to the Morrisonville/Lincolnwood Mohaws 2-0 in the IHSA 1A Semifinals. The Mohawks broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the fourth inning, taking a 1-0 lead, before adding an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth, making the score 2-0. The Bombers were able to get runners on base, but struggled to find the big hit, falling to Morisonville/Lincolnwood 2-0. BSE ends its season with a record of 10-12.
