Familiar dual conference opponents SEB and CHBC clashed one final time on the season with the Lady Eagles winning the third and final meeting over the Lady Bobcats, 6-1, in the quarterfinals of the Altamont 1A Regional to immediately advance to the semifinals where they suffered a 10-0 loss to top-seeded Casey-Westfield on Wednesday night. In the opening game of the regional tripleheader at Altamont, CHBC grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the first inning as Harper Lilly scored on an error and they would hold that lead till the bottom of the third inning when SEB put their first runs on the scoreboard. A bunt single from Izzy Orr drove in the game tying run to make it 1-1 before a CHBC error allowed another run to score for a 2-1 SEB lead that was pushed to 3-1 on an RBI groundout by Alivia Claycomb. After a scoreless fourth inning, the Lady Eagles broke through with another three-run inning in the fifth as Kadence Speagle beat the throw to home on a passed ball for a run, Alivia Claycomb drew an RBI walk and Orr scored on a passed ball to extend the SEB lead to 6-1 and it would hold as the final score as SEB earned a spot in the first semifinal game.
