Vandals 9U Baseball Wins Sandlot Kids Summer Bash

Vandals 9U baseball picked up some hardware this weekend, making it a clean sweep to win the Sandlot Kids Summer Bash in Hillsboro. The Vandals picked up wins over the Breese Miners 6-0, over Slick Sliders 9U from Greenville 15-1, over the Rochester Raptors 14-1 and over the Southern Illinois Rawlings Tigers 5-1 before winning the Championship game in dominating fashion over the Moco Tribe from Waterloo, 15-0. Vandals 9U is now 16-7 on the Spring season and will be back in action this weekend when they compete in the Effingham Heaters Wood Bat Tournament.
