Altamont Boys Tie for Second Place at National Trail Conference Meet


The Altamont boys track team tied for second place as a team with Neoga at the National Trail Conference Meet on Wednesday. Altamont and Neoga both finished with 80 points coming in behind first place Cumberland with 175. Altamont had two event conference champions as senior Brock Wendling took first place in the Shot Put and Kaiden Wolff took first place in the Pole Vault. The Altamont boys will have several days off before returning to action on Monday as the Altamont boys and girls host the Ellis Invite Meet.

First Place:

Brock Wendling – Shot Put, 49’ 4.75”

Kaiden Wolff – Pole Vault, 10’ 3.5”

Second Place:

Jacob Johnson – 400m Dash, 54.22 seconds

Brock Wendling – Discus, 138’ 9”

Third Place:

Joel Bauer – Discus, 129’ 0.75”

Jacob Johnson – Triple Jump, 38’ 0.75”

Fourth Place:

Jacob Johnson – 100m Dash, 12.13 seconds

Brody DeGennaro – 400m Dash, 56.39 seconds

Joel Bauer – 110m Hurdles, 21.86 seconds

Hayden Bridges – High Jump, 5’ 7.75”

Fifth Place:

Jacob Johnson – 200m Dash, 24.72 seconds

Juan Fulk – 110m Hurdles, 23.13 seconds
