South Central Baseball Set to Honor 2021 1A State Championship Team on 5-Year Anniversary

This June will mark the 5-year anniversary of South Central baseball’s first 1A State Baseball Championship and the first state championship for any sport in school history. On Saturday, May 16 at 6:00pm, South Central baseball will host Odin-Patoka-Sandoval at Lions Field in Kinmundy. Prior to the game, the 2021 championship team will be recognized as they bring each of the players onto the field. The community, parents, family members and fans of the 2021 Championship team and of South Central baseball are invited and encouraged to attend the celebratory evening as they recall and honor the history making team and their accomplishments and cheer on the current Cougars baseball team on as they battle the OPS Eagles.
