The Fayette County Freedom 12U-Saunders softball team took second place at the Sandlot Kids Spring Fling Tournament in Hillsboro this past weekend. Freedom 12U went 2-1 on the day beating the host Sandlot Kids, 19-4, and beating Midwest Grind, 13-8. They then suffered their only loss on the day in the Championship game, falling to Forsyth Fire, 17-7.
