Altamont Lady Tribe 10U Orange Wins Sandlot Kids Spring Fling

The Altamont Lady Tribe 10U Orange softball team made it a clean sweep to take the Championship at the Sandlot Kids Spring Fling in Hillsboro this past weekend. The Lady Tribe opened tournament play with a 12-3 win over Fayette County Freedom 10U-Sefton and then got a shutout win over Sandlot Kids 10U, 15-0. Lady Tribe moved into the semifinals and got another big win, beating Midwest Swing 14-6 to earn a spot in the Championship game where they beat Fayette County Freedom 10U-Clay in a close game, 3-2. The Lady Tribe are 14-3 on the Spring/Summer season.
