The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats couldn’t overcome 4 errors on Thursday, falling to the Dieterich Moovin’ Maroons 11-2. After a scoreless first inning, the Maroons scored three runs to take a 3-0 lead. The Bobcats got a run back in the second inning when Cayden Ondes scored on a passed ball, cutting the deficit to 3-1. The Maroons would tack on a run in the top of the third inning to push their lead to 4-1. That score held until the bottom of the sixth inning when Ondes singled to score Isaac Wells, cutting the Dieterich lead to 4-2. The Maroons would break the game open in the top of the seventh inning, scoring 7 runs to take a commanding 11-2 lead. CHBC would be held scoreless in the bottom of the seventh inning, falling to Dieterich 11-2. The loss drops the Bobcats to 4-11 on the season. CHBC will be back home on the 11th, taking on Flora.
