The Ramsey-Mulberry Grove Rams rallied for 7 runs across the seventh and eighth innings, but could not hang on, falling to the Edinburg Wildcats 9-8 in extra innings. The Wildcats scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 2-0 lead, before tacking on two runs in the third and one in the fourth to extend their lead to 5-0. The Rams would get on the board in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI single from Carson Phillips, cutting the deficit to 5-1. Edinburg tacked on two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 7-1. Ramsey-Mulberry Grove would rally in the top of the seventh inning, with Liam Stief singling to score Phillips to cut the deficit to 7-2, before RBI singles from Adam Arseneau and Braxton Moreland, and a 2-RBI single from Jackson Elam made the score 7-6. Elam would score on a passed ball, tying the game at 7, and would hold the Wildcats scoreless in the seventh to send the game into extra innings.
