The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats collected 5 hits as a team, but couldn’t turn any of them into runs, falling to the Shelbyville Rams 7-0 on Tuesday. After a scoreless inning and a half, the Rams used a big 6-run second inning to take a 6-0 lead. That score would hold until the bottom of the sixth when Shelbyville tacked on an insurance run to make their lead 7-0, and the Bobcats were kept off the scoreboard, falling to the Rams 7-0. The loss drops CHBC to 4-10 on the season. The Bobcats will be back home Thursday to take on Dieterich.
