Altamont Shuts Out Ramsey-Mulberry Grove for 5th Straight Win


The Altamont Indians got out to a 4-0 first inning lead, and never looked back, coming away with a 12-0 win over the Ramsey-Mulberry Grove Rams on Tuesday. Altamont would use three straight hits from Kade Milleville, Cooper McManaway and Zaine Miller to take an early 2-0 lead. Brayden Elam would then reach on an error to allow Miller to score, and a Blake Berg single would allow Kaiden Wolff to score to give the Indians a 4-0 lead. Altamont would add on to that lead in the top of the second when the Indians loaded the bases for Parker Bell, who would be hit by a pitch, allowing Milleville to score, making the lead 5-0. A walk, and back to back singles would cap off a 5-run second inning for the Indians, giving them a 5-0 lead. Altamont would add a run in the third, fourth and fifth innings, and Carson Milleville would hold the Rams to one hit on the day, helping the Indians come away with the 12-0 victory. Altamont is now 8-4 on the season, and have now won 5 consecutive games. The Indians will be on the road on Wednesday to take on Cumberland. The loss drops Ramsey-Mulberry Grove to 0-10 on the season. The Rams will be back home next Monday to take on Edinburg
