The South Central Cougars went 0-2 in a Saturday round robin on Saturday, falling to the Casey-Westfield Warriors 6-4, and the Breese Central Cougars 9-0. The Cougars would take an early 2-0 lead over Casey-Westfield, but the Warriors would score 3 runs in the second inning, and 1 in the third inning, and the Cougars wouldn’t recover, falling to the Warriors 6-4. South Central would get down against Breese Central 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning. That score would hold until the bottom of the fifth, when the Breese Central would break the game open with a 7-run frame. South Central would be unable to crack the score board, falling to Breese Central 9-0. South Central falls to 3-7 on the season. The Cougars will be back at home on Monday to take on Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.
