Vandalia Grad Kiera Givens and SIUE Dance Team Headed to NDA College Nationals

Vandalia graduate Kiera (Kiki) Givens will make her debut on the Nationals stage this weekend as the first year Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville Dance Team member and her Cougars teammates compete in Daytona Beach, Florida in the NDA College Dance Nationals. Givens, a sophomore elementary education major, will compete with her team in Jazz Division I and Pom Division I. They will compete at the Ocean Center Exhibit Hall today at 10:50am for the Pom Division and will then have several hours before competing at 5:53pm for the Jazz Division tonight, also at the Exhibit Hall. Friday competition times are to be determined based on Thursday’s performances with Pom Division I awards following the final performance at 4:17pm and the Jazz Division I awards being held following the final performance at 9:47pm.
