The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats scored three runs in the top of the first inning, and never looked back, coming away with a 9-3 win over the Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Warriors. Isaac Wells would get the Bobcats on the board with a 2-run double, and would later come around to score on a passed ball to give CHBC a 3-0 lead. The Bobcats would add on to that lead in the bottom of the second when Clive Schlanser scored on a passed ball, before a Wells double would bring home Kale Hardimon to make the score 5-0. CHBC would break the game open with a 3-run fourth inning to make the score 6-0. OPS would attempt to claw their way back with a three-run sixth inning, but the Bobcats would get an insurance run in the bottom half of the frame to come away with the 9-3 win. The win improves CHBC to 2-3 on the season. The Bobcats will be back at home on Thursday to take on Shelbyville.
