Altamont Gets Another Shot at Lawrenceville as Teams Meet Tonight in Sectional Championship

Three weeks after Altamont suffered a tough loss on the road at Lawrenceville, they will get another shot at them as the Tribe will face Lawrenceville tonight at 7:00pm in the Championship game of the Macon Meridian Sectional. On February 14, Altamont came up short to Lawrenceville as they got off to a slow start and despite closing things up in the second half, suffered a 54-44 loss. Altamont has already got revenge on one team from an earlier loss in the regular season when they beat Tuscola 61-58 in the first Sectional semifinal game on Tuesday. For Lawrenceville, they also got a close win their semifinal game, beating Casey-Westfield 30-29 on Wednesday night. Game time tonight is set for 7:00pm and the winner will move on to the Charleston Super-Sectional at EIU on Monday at 7:00pm where they will meet the winner of the Danville Schlarman Sectional Championship game between LeRoy and Colfax Ridgeview.
