Mulberry Grove grad Taylor Stone has made an impact right away in her freshman season for Arkansas State University Mid-South as she is leading the Greyhounds in several offensive categories ten games into the season. Stone leads the team in batting average, RBI, extra base hits and homeruns as she is 9 for 24 at the plate, hitting .375 with 9 hits, 9 RBI, 5 extra base hits and 3 home runs for .971 slugging percentage. Stone has also carried her sure-handed ways on the infield from her time with the Lady Aces and with her South Central Storm travel team as she has a .905 fielding percentage with 15 assists and 4 put outs in 21 chances with just two errors. Overall, the Greyhounds have had a rough start as a team, going 2-8 so far on the season. They will be back in action this Saturday for a doubleheader at Mineral Area College.
