Vandalia girls basketball had no answer for Sullivan as the Lady Vandals suffered a 75-32 loss to see their season come to an end in the Quarterfinals of the Teutopolis 2A Regional on Saturday afternoon. Vandalia was outscored 17-6 in the first quarter and 23-10 in the second quarter to fall behind 40-16 at halftime. Sullivan put the game out of reach with a 29-8 run through the third quarter as Vandalia trailed 69-24 to end the third quarter. The Lady Vandals outscored Sullivan 8-6 in the final minutes but suffered the 75-32 defeat. With the loss, Vandalia ends their season with a record of 8-23.
