After tonight, there will be just one team left unbeaten in National Trail Conference girls basketball regular season play. Brownstown-St. Elmo and St. Anthony sit tied for the top spot in the conference standings at 7-0 with Cumberland right behind them at 7-1. The Lady Bombers and Lady Bulldogs will square off tonight in Effingham with the JV teams playing two running clock halves starting at 6:00pm followed by the Varsity game. We will have the broadcast of the Varsity game at approximately 6:40pm on 104.7 FM and AM 1500 WPMB as well as streaming live at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio app.
After tonight, BSE will have just one more NTC game remaining, taking on Windsor/Stew-Stras on February 11 in their regular season finale while the other top teams in the conference, St. Anthony and Cumberland, will meet on February 9 which puts a lot on the line in tonight’s matchup.
