Ramsey senior golfer Annabelle Click is continuing her athletic and academic career at the next level, as she signed her letter of intent on Thursday afternoon to play golf for Rend Lake College. Click is a student at Mid-America Preparatory School who co-ops with Ramsey and Nokomis for golf and Click’s signing on Thursday makes it the first ever athletic signing for the small school. With being the first MAPS athletic signee, Click says after making the decision to go ahead and pursue competing collegiately, she is happy to be the first signee and set an example.
As for moving on to the next level, when asked what made her choose to join Rend Lake College, Click said she felt at home on her official visit.
Click was a Sectional qualifier during her junior season and was a multiple-time medalist for the Lady Rams in her junior and senior seasons. She will be joining a Warriors Golf squad that finished 14th at the NJCAA Division II championship this past spring.
