Vandalia boys basketball dropped their third straight game on Thursday night, suffering a 69-62 loss to Mounds Meridian in the consolation semifinals of the Benton Invitational Tournament. The loss drops the Vandals to 10-12 on the season and they move into the Seventh Place game where they will take on 6-12 Sesser-Valier on Wednesday, January 28 at 6:00pm after the tournament schedule was changed to move games off of its originally planned Saturday place day schedule due to the impending weather forecast to hit the area this weekend.
