The Vandalia 7th grade boys basketball team kept their successful season going for at least one more game on Wednesday night as they defeated Sullivan, 43 to 34, to capture the Regional Championship.
The Vandals trailed 10 to 9 after the first quarter but did open up a 26 to 20 halftime lead. That lead was down to just 31 to 30 going into the 4th quarter before the Vandals were able to open it up.

The Vandals are now 20-4 on the season. They will play in the sectional on Monday at Litchfield at 6 pm where they will take on East St. Louis Lincoln.
