The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Lady Bobcats got back in the win column on Wednesday night, earning a 49-28 win over the Windsor/Stew-Stras Lady Hatchets in the NTC Tournament. The Lady Bobcats got off to a good start offensively, finishing the first quarter with a 13-8 lead. Points were hard to come by in the second quarter, but CHBC would use an 8-6 scoring advantage to take a 21-14 lead into halftime. The Lady Bobcats would come out of the break on a 12-9 run to enter the fourth quarter with a 33-23 lead. The fourth quarter would be all CHBC as they would close out the game on a 16-5 run to come away with the 49-28 win. The win improves CHBC to 4-13 on the season. The Lady Bobcats will be back at home on Monday to take on Neoga for an NTC matchup.
