BSE Drops One Spot to #2 in This Week's Associated Press 1A Girls Basketball Poll


Brownstown-St. Elmo dropped one spot this week to #2 in the Associated Press 1A Girls Basketball Poll. The Lady Bombers have hit the 20-win mark on the season picking up two more dominating wins in the last week to get to 20-1 on the season as well as extend their current win streak to 17 games. They were surpassed this week by Deer Creek Mackinaw who continues their big rise that started last week as they made the jump from #3 up to #1 this week after a big jump in last week’s poll from #8 to #3. BSE plays Altamont for the second time in seven days tonight when they face the Lady Indians in the National Trail Conference Tournament semifinals and will play their place game of the tournament on Saturday before having games against North Clay and South Central on Monday and Tuesday of next week before the next AP poll is released.
