The Vandalia Lady Vandals got out to a 9-0 run, and never looked back, coming away with a dominant 66-38 win over the North Clay Lady Cardinals Saturday Afternoon. The Lady Vandals offense was firing on all cylanders in the first quarter, outscoring the Lady Cardinals 29-8. Vandalia kept their foot on the gas in the second quarter, going on a 17-7 run to enter halftime up 46-15. The Lady Vandals would be outscored 23-20 in the second half, but that was enough for them to come away with the 66-38 win. The win improves Vandalia to 7-14 on the season. The Lady Vandals will be back in action on Monday when they host Salem in the Vandalia Midwinter Tournament.
