SEB Cheerleading Takes 7th in Large Varsity Game Day Division at ICCA State Championships

St. Elmo-Brownstown Cheerleading came home with a top 10 finish after competition at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association’s State Championships this weekend in Springfield. The Eagles competed in the Large Team Varsity Game Day Division and competed against much larger schools as the divisions are based on cheer team size and not school enrollment and the Eagles finished in a 7^th place tie with Salem. The 2025-2026 SEB Cheer Team includes members Phoenix Beccue, Carly Wilhour, Morgan Wilhour, Elyse Forbus, Heaven Hardesty, Leila Wright, Daisy Chandler, Laela Austin, Keiara Speagle, Alivia Claycomb, Chloe Austin, Iliyah Forbes, Lily Pervenecki and Baily Mason. SEB Cheer is coached by Deb Hunter and Shayla Stokes.
