CHBC couldn’t keep up with the steady scoring of North Clay as the Bobcats suffered a 69-46 loss to the Cardinals on the road on Friday night. A 17-8 first quarter run by the Cardinals had CHBC trailing early and the Bobcats then trailed 32-18 at halftime after being outscored 15-10 in the second quarter. CHBC couldn’t hold North Clay in the third quarter as the Cardinals outscored the Bobcats 18-9 and North Clay pulled away further to lead CHBC 50-27 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Bobcats had their highest quarterly scoring total in the fourth as they played even with the Cardinals, 19-19, but would take the 69-46 loss. CHBC is now 6-10 on the and 0-3 in the NTC. They will be back at home on Tuesday to take on Martinsville in Egyptian Illini Conference action.
