CHBC struggled to score early and despite a stronger second half, couldn’t catch up to Cumberland as they suffered a 51-27 loss on the road in National Trail Conference action on Thursday. The Lady Bobcats were held to just four points in both the first and second quarters as they found themselves trailing 39-8 at halftime. The third quarter was more even as CHBC was just outscored 12-10 but continued to trail 51-18 at the end of the third. The Lady Bobcats closed the game on a 9-0 run but it was not near enough to close up their large deficit as they took the 51-27 loss. CHBC drops to 2-13 on the season and to 1-4 in the NTC. They will have another conference matchup coming up on Monday as they host North Clay.
