Three I70Sports area teams will begin competition in the Dieterich Girls Holiday Tournament today, including top seed Brownstown-St. Elmo who will begin work towards defending their back to back titles won in 2023 and 2024. Ramsey-Mulberry Grove will be new to the tournament this year replacing South Central who exited the tournament for this year and the Rams will play the tournament’s first game against host Dieterich who is the #3 seed. The Rams and Maroons will both have their double days today while BSE will play one game today before playing two on Saturday. After Friday and Saturday’s pool play days, the tournament will take a break on Sunday and then the place games will be held on Monday.
