Vandalia got off to a quick start while CHBC struggled to score in the first half as the Lady Vandals beat the Lady Bobcats 52-32 in girls basketball action on Tuesday night. Vandalia ran out to a 15-5 first quarter lead and then used a 13-6 second quarter run to take a 28-11 lead over CHBC at halftime. The Lady Bobcats put together their best scoring quarter in the third, outscoring the Lady Vandals 12-11, but CHBC remained at a large deficit as Vandalia went into the fourth quarter up 39-23. A 13-9 run by the Lady Vandals would close out the game and Vandalia beat CHBC 52-32. Vandalia moves to 3-7 on the season and will be off until December 26 when they begin play in the Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Winterfest Tournament. CHBC drops to 1-9 on the season and will be on the road again on Thursday as they play at Altamont.
