Ramsey boys basketball fell into an early hole and couldn’t get out as the Rams were handed a 74-33 loss by Maryville Christian in their final game of pool play at the Mulberry Grove Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday night. Ramsey was held to just nine points on three baskets in the first quarter trailing 23-9 to end the first before an 18-9 run by the Lions saw the Rams behind 41-18 at halftime. Ramsey was outscored 33-15 in the second half as they could not slow down the Maryville Christian offense and suffered the 74-33 loss. The Rams finish pool play at 0-3 and will play in the Seventh Place game today at 1:30pm against the host Mulberry Grove Aces.
