Dieterich Wins Two, CHBC Grabs First Win of Season and Ramsey Falls Twice at CHBC Girls Tournament

Pool play wrapped up on Friday at the CHBC Girls Thanksgiving Tournament with Dieterich picking up two wins while CHBC won their first game of the season and Ramsey-Mulberry Grove suffered a pair of tough losses. Dieterich finished its undefeated run through pool play, beating Sandoval 41-15 before getting a 50-39 win over CHBC to go 3-0 in pool play and earn a spot in the Championship game. The Lady Bobcats bounced back from their loss to Dieterich by beating Ramsey, 35-24, to get their first win of the season and end pool play at 1-2 to earn a spot in the Fifth Place Game. Ramsey suffered a 37-28 loss to Sandoval before falling to CHBC in their final game. The tournament wraps up today with the place games beginning at 11:00am with the CHBC playing North Clay for Fifth Place. At 12:30pm, the Shelbyville Lady Rams will play against the Sandoval Blackhawks for Third Place and then at 2:00pm, Dieterich will take on Cumberland in the Championship Game.
