The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Lady Bobcats battled hard, but ultimately fell on the wrong side of a 41-39 overtime defeat in the seventh place game of the Nokomis Tip off Tournament. After trailing 18-10 after the first quarter, CHBC would play even in the second quarter, but still trailed 30-22. An 11-2 third quarter would give CHBC a slim 33-32 lead entering the fourth, but the Lady Bobcats would be held to just 5 points, and Maryville Christian would tie it at regulation. It would be all Lions in Overtime, as they would go on a 3-1 run to come away with the 41-39 win. CHBC falls to 0-3 on the season. They will begin play in their own Thanksgiving Tournament taking on Sandoval on Tuesday.
