The South Central Lady Cougars opened their season on Monday night as they fell at Martinsville 42-24. The game was played a day earlier than scheduled as it was pushed from Tuesday night to Monday night due to a schedule issue with Martinsville. The Lady Cougars open the season under new coach, Michael Koehnke at 0-1 and will look to bounce back when they have their home opener on Thursday, hosting North Clay for their first National Trail Conference game of the season.
