Vandalia 61, Hillsboro 52
The Lady Vandals made it three wins in a row, going on the road and beating Hillsboro 61-52 on Thursday night.
Vandalia got out to a 15-10 lead by the end of the first quarter and outscored the Hiltoppers 17-11 in the second to double their lead and hold a 32-21 advantage at halftime. Hillsboro used a 13-10 third quarter to cut the Lady Vandals lead to 8 at 42-34 going into the fourth. Vandalia and Hillsboro kept pace with each other in the fourth with the Lady Vandals able to hold off Hillsboro and close out the win.

The Lady Vandals are now 6- 14 on the season. They will begin play in the Effingham Round Robin games on Monday. The games will be JV and Varsity matchups throughout the week with Vandalia taking on Effingham at 6pm on Monday.
