Vandals celebrate 2nd round playoff win at Greenville, now get ready for St. Joseph-Ogden


The Vandals got to celebrate for a short time their road playoff win on Saturday at Greenville, as they defeated the Comets 42 to 21.  They now get ready for round 3 and a long road trip this Saturday.

After the game, Vandals Coach Jason Clay said the defense kept them in the game early and he also talked about Andrew Casey’s job of relieving an injured Qwentyn Stombaugh at Quarterback.

Andrew ended up throwing for 248 yards and 5 Touchdowns in the game.  The Vandals are now 11-0 on the season.  They will play at 7-4 St. Joseph-Ogden on Saturday afternoon at 1 pm in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A Playoffs.
