Dieterich and Mulberry Grove battled for two close sets to begin the match before the Maroons pulled away from the Aces for the deciding set win on Monday night. Mulberry Grove took the first set 25-18 before Dieterich came back for a 25-21 win in the second set and then took charge and ran away for a 25-13 third set win. The Maroons move to 5-7 on the season with the win while Mulberry Grove drops to 3-4. Dieterich is back in action today for a National Trail Conference matchup with St. Elmo-Brownstown while the Aces are off until Thursday when they will take on Ramsey.
