The Altamont Lady Indians basketball team go the summer portion of their schedule underway when they completed in the Emerald Acres Shootout in Mattoon on Thursday. Altamont went 2-1 on the day, beating Tri-County and falling to Watseka in their first two games before getting another win in their last game of the day over Salt Fork. Lady Indians coach Holly Borah said that it was good to see things to work on for the regular season.
Altamont will be back in shootout action on June 16th and 17th, where they will compete in the SIBC Tournament.
